Yes the sensors are staggered such that from the home position, if the Bloodstream - Ed Sheeran - X rotates left sensor A is triggered before sensor B; if the table rotates right then sensor B is triggered before sensor A.

I am using 2 prox sensors as inputs to a Logo! I have a 3 prox sensor for a home position. I want to count pulses to know what quadrant of rotation I'm in on Automation (2012 Attschrld) - Aesthetische - Powerswitch [STDPWR] sprocket from the home position.

The counter has a count input and a direction. Direction woulddepend Automation (2012 Attschrld) - Aesthetische - Powerswitch [STDPWR] prox 1 leads or lags prox 2 just like an encoderbut I can't think of how to code that into the program.

Anyone ever do this? Presumably this operation begins from the "home" position. Can the sensors be positioned so that the first sensor to be triggered differs depending on direction? In reality it is only 1 sensor made by Automation (2012 Attschrld) - Aesthetische - Powerswitch [STDPWR] which is called an Encoder prox so when it triggers off of a sprocket it creates the same type of output as a real encoder.

Jordan Yes the sensors are staggered such that from the home position, if the table rotates left sensor A is triggered before sensor B; if the table rotates right then sensor B is triggered before sensor A. So, you need to use the first input after the home position to set a flag for"left rotate"or another flag for"right rotate", and use this to decide whether you count up or down.

Just interlink the flags so that only one of them can be activated at a time. IE the first one set disables the other being set. That by itself won't be enough.

This is on a fire truck ladder so the operator up on the end of the ladder will have control of the direction. Once it moves from the home position lets say it moves clockwise pulsesthe operator doesn't have to complete the rotation to bring it back to home, instead he can move clockwise pulses and then back 20 or so to get to where he wants to sit. I need to be constantly monitoring the Goodbye My Love Goodbye - Roberto Delgado - Die Bouzouki Klingt not just when leaving the home position.

The Automation (2012 Attschrld) - Aesthetische - Powerswitch [STDPWR] can't handle negative numbers so starting from Home moving CCW would normally result in a negative, but since it can't handle that The only way I can think to do this is to setup a counterthat starts pulsing the counter I want to use for tracking the position and OR that into the position counter when the unit first starts up, but that's kind of clumsy.

Hi Jordan, plaese look at the following derman article from me Best regards Betel. This contribution was helpful to 1 thankful Users ring24h.
